J. Kobylka Reptiles Incubator ~ 2011 Clutches

Here you will find records of what has been layed and hatched here at J. Kobylka Reptiles. Please feel free to browse through the clutches and check out the parents and offspring. If you have a question or are interested in purchasing from a clutch, click the "Inquire" link.
Year: Clutch: Morph: Sort:
Preview: 1:8 shot at more Fire Bumblebees like the twins that hatched from 2010 Clutch #33.
Hatched: 1.0 Fire Bumblebee, 0.1 Fire Spider, 1.1 Firefly, 0.1 Normal
Preview: I'm starting this project after seeing how nicely the the Albino Ivory turned out. I'm thinking the Lavender Albino wil take it to the next level. Next up: Lavender Superstripes!

Hatched: 1.2 Yellowbelly Het Lavs, 1.3 Het Lavs

Perfect sex ratio on this clutch and I'm thrilled to have my YB Het Lavs to work with!
Preview: Gutted by all the slugs... only consolation is I should have a few more Desert clutches coming.

Hatched: N/A

Unfortunately there was a male Desert in this egg, but did not make it all the way to term. Not sure what went wrong... :(
Preview: Here's my longshot at an Ivory Piebald. If I can pull off the incredible odds game, it would be a first. I'm having a fun time trying to imagine what it would look like exactly!

Hatched: 1.0 Ivory 50% Het Pied, 2.2 Yellowbelly 50% Het Pieds, 0.1 50% Het Pied

Swing and a miss, look like mom didn't prove het... this year at least.
Preview: This should produce Leopard Spiders, Leopards and Spiders, all het Pied as well.

Hatched: 2.0 Spider Het Pieds, 2.3 Het Pieds

No Leopards??!! Just hoping I "missed" on the odds... Will have to wait to see what the next clutch throws.
Preview: This is the beginning of my path toward a Suma Pied! Hoping for at least a pair of Mahogany Het Pieds to hold back from this clutch.

Hatched: 0.3 Mahogany Het Piebalds, 2.0 Het Pieds

These are just stunning! Love the striping the brought in on two of them by the het Pied influence. Only slightly disappointed to have missed on a male that I'll eventually need. These girls are so nice and I'll just have to make my boy next season.
Preview: Shocked to get 9 eggs out of this Mojave female. This is definitely the most eggs I've ever had laid from a first year breeder that was only about 1600g!

This is nice start to make future Ultramel Mojave. Based on how the Caramel Mojave turned out, this project is a no-brainer in my opinion.
Hatched: 1.2 Mojave Het Ultras, 3.3 Het Ultras
Preview: This will produce Desert Pinstripes, Deserts and Pins.

Hatched: 1.1 Desert Pinstripe, 1.1 Deserts, 1.0 Pinstripe, 0.1 Normal (1.0 Desert not pictured)

My first clutch of Deserts! The Desert Pins have long been my favorite and this pair is just amazing.
Preview: Excited to hatch my first Genetic Stripes! These are from my "vanishing stripe" male.

Hatched: 0.2 Genetic Stripes, 3.0 Het Stripes

Happy to see these two girls come out with perfect, unbroken stripes!
Preview: This is a fun clutch that should produce Clowns and Pastel Clowns that are 50% Het Piebald, as well as possible double hets.

Hatched: 0.1 Pastel Clown 50% Het Pied, 0.1 Clown 50% Het Pied, 2.0 Pastel 66% Het Clown 50% het Pied, 3.2 66% Het Clown 50% Het Pied

The first Pastel Clown to hatch here at JKR and she's 50% Het Pied as a bonus!
Preview: This is the same pairing that produced my first Killer Pied last season (2010). In a weird coincidence it was also Clutch #26. Hoping for the same luck this year!

Hatched: 2.0 Pastel Pieds, 0.4 Het Piebalds

EPICALLY bad odds, particularaly when you consider I had the same odds of producing a Killer Pied as I did the FOUR Het Pieds. But these two Pastel Pieds are just smoking hot... best of the best.
Preview: One of these eggs look pretty weak, but we'll see. Still a good size clutch. By the odds, 1:8 of these should be a Bumblebelly with only 1:8 being normal as well.

Hatched: 2.1 Bumblebee, 2.0 Spider, 1.0 Pastel, 0.1 Normal (not pictured)

No YBs in this clutch? Happy with the Bee odds though.
Preview: This should produce Fireflys, Pastels and Fires.

Hatched: 1.1 Fireflys, 1.1 Fires, 1.1 Pastel, 0.1 Normal (Pastel & Normal not pictured, 2 eggs went bad during incubation)

2 top-notch Fireflys out of this clutch and a wicked ringer fire female as well.
  • ID: 2011 Clutch #29
  • Date Layed: Jun 12th, 2011
  • Sire: Bumblebee & Vanilla
  • Dame: Normal
  • Eggs Layed: 6 Eggs & 1 Slug
  • Date Hatched: Aug 10th, 2011
Preview: We'll see who the sires this clutch.

Hatched: 0.1 Bumblebee, 1.1 Spider, 1.0 Pastel, 1.1 Normals

Bumblebee takes the cake!
Preview: Here's a big one... hoping to produce my first Dreamsicle(s) since I hatched my original male in 2009. These are still the hottest double recessive morph on the planet!! As rare as they are beautiful.

Hatched: 1.0 Dreamsicle, 3.1 Lav Het Pieds, 1.0 Pied Het Lav, 1.1 Het Lav / Pied

THRILLED to hatch another Dreamsicle after completely missing in 2010. The Dream is still one of the rarest, and definitely hottest double recessive in existance!
